Blottshop Guildford

For those that dont know I am also Deputy Manager @ a wonderful shop called Blott, in Guildford ( they also have another shop in Royal Tunbridge Wells ) such a fab lot of products, and if you have seen my last few posts on stationary you will know my love for it !

Definatley come and visit me for Christmas time !

Day Three of LDF !

Last day of the London Design Festival this year boooo (my feet hurt soooo much&I need to get some clean pants!)

Shopping was on my mind today ...in a major way...
I am not a big spender, anyone who knows me well, knows that I hang on to my cash for as long as possible, and then a random day will come along and take it all away from me !

Being a stationary geek I ofcourse headed for Muji, Ordning&Reda (their concession is worth a visit on GF in Selfridges) & Paperchase. I had fun...sooo much fun, and am now trying to do something about the dent in my piggy bank :S so worth it though, I now own some really rather beautiful things :) oh and I also went to 100% design which to be quite honest wasnt great, I didnt spend that long there ! Lawrie went to Eurogamer which he will be exhibiting @ next year ! (no doubt about it) so I did allow him to have his nerdy time :) ! I was most impressed by only one exhibit the walrus, octopus & rhino chair by Maximo Riera

Day Two of LDF

WHAT A DAY ! If I could go through today again, I most definatley would !
Did designersblock & design junction today also Origin & Tent London.
Designersblock was just incredible, set in a old concrete warehouse/editors/newspapers business, the architecture alone was enough to wow me, the laid back nature of the designers meeting clients/customers was personal & thought out.

Day One of LDF

Phew ! I have had an action packed day @ the London Design Festival SO much to see !!

First stop was the V&A, the power of making (amazing exhibition, especially the pencils (see earlier post) & the machine that makes itself !)) &
Next on the list was the Science Museum (fabulous) met up with my lovely friend Lauren Cross (who is super with all the museum stuff) who let us in VIP to the Legend Apollo 4d movie (TONS of fun)
We also tried to go shopping, I always forget how horrendous it is ! my feet hurt soooo much !
Stayed with Lawries(my mans) uncle, they had such a lovely place I got a bit jealous & accidently nearly flooded their bathroom (!!)
